Refresh and Renew

The other day I got the big urge to rearrange my living room.  I have been wanting to do it for a while and since I have had some time, I did it. Sine it has been a year that I moved in, I figured it was about time to make some changes. Refresh and Renew for this new year!
Previously this is how my living room looked

Over the course of the year I have added to and rearrange to make it now look like this

Brutus of course had to make and appearance!

A little messier and more lived in.  Also please excuse the iPhone pictures.  I was too lazy to get out the big girl camera!

Since I was rearranging my living room, I decided it was also time to update my gallery wall.  I don't think I am very good at this, but I try.  And I mostly like then end result.  Theory is always better than reality with me!

I had two new prints from 34 Magnolia Street Shop and wanted to personalize it with some family and friend pictures.  
I am loving the rearrangement of my furniture.  I feel like it opens up the space and makes it feel bigger than it really is.  When moving everything around I was reminded of being in college when we would rearrange our rooms all the time.  It always made life feel new and I feel the same now!

Life Lately...In Photos

I got to know Shannon through the 40 Day Challenge with Overcome The Lie. We were partnered together and I have really come to love her and appreciate her friendship. So of course when she had this great idea for a link-up I knew I was in!

From here on out I am going to let the pictures from my phone do the talking (well I might have a few words to add). This is what my life has entailed lately....and you will notice I take more pictures of Brutus than anything! Oh and the pictures go from past to present starting a couple weeks ago:)

This is normally Brutus's "I'm about to bite and attack your arm" look.  Instead he settled for some cuddles.

Picture Perfect

I mentioned earlier this week that Lauren and I went out last Saturday to take some new pictures.  We both felt like we needed some new ones for our blogs.  Have I mentioned before how much I love this girl?  She is seriously one awesome friend.
It was an over cast day, which apparently is perfect for picture taking.  Our goal was to get good pictures without you being able to really tell where we were.  You see here at Milligan there are some iconic picture taking spots.  
And of course we wanted to use those spots because they really are great for pictures.  Overall I think we both did a great job of capturing each other (even if it was my first time using such a nice camera).

You can't expect me to be serious the whole time now can you?!

This lady is so use to being behind the camera and hates being in front.  But I think I got some good ones for her:)

Outfit change time!  And like I said...I'm not a serious person.

Bottom left has been deemed The Mosby Face.  Apparently I make this look quite often...
