Creativity Project

Here at Milligan during your second semester in Humanities everyone is required to do what is a called a creativity project.  These range from people writing songs, taking photos, painting pottery, making quilts, making scrapbooks, and some ever go as far as to make silent films.  All you have to do is come up with something creative to do that will somehow relate to a topic that has been studied in humanities.  While all of those unartistic types, like me, dread projects like this, many embrace it and come up with some pretty cool things.

This year one of the freshmen, Angela, a good friend of mine, had people around campus write their favorite Bible verse on the palm of their hand and she then took a photo of it.  I participated and here is an example of what I am talking about.
I absolutely LOVED this idea and thought it was awesome.  Now I'm not quite sure what she is going to do with all of the pictures in the end, but I still love the idea.  Now you all can see how Milligan Humanities program can SOMETIMES, but definitely not all the time, be somewhat fun!
