Weekend Recap

Another great weekend has come and gone.  It is hard to believe that in just a little over a month from today I will be moving back to Milligan.  Man has this summer come and gone so quickly!

This weekend I was able to spend lots of fun time in the sun and worked VERY hard on my tan.  The family was down till Saturday morning, so we got to spend Friday on the beach with them.  It is always nice to be able to see them, and I hope we will be seeing some or all of them again next summer:)

Friday night we went out to dinner and I decided to try something new.  When it comes to seafood, I have a hard time eating it if I don't know it is fresh.  Fortunately here in Florida, a lot of our fish is!  This night I thought trying some scallops would be fun.  Even though I was worried about the texture, I tried them.  They were wonderful! Definitely a new favorite!!
Yummy Yummy
I spent pretty much the rest of the weekend either curled up the couch, hanging in the pool, or laying out with this good book.
Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers
I had read the book long ago, but after hearing Becky was reading it again I thought I would do so as well! It was pretty obvious to me that I had not read the book in a while because I had forgotten so much.  I fell in love with this book again and would recommend it to anyone!

It is the story of Hosea from the Bible told through the times in the 1850's during the California Gold Rush.  If you want to see what true love really is you need to pick this book up!

Nice relaxing weekends are great, especially when I have a full week of work ahead of me!
