Inspire Me: Healthy Week 1

All In My Twenties

So when I heard about this link from Kristen and Raven I got really excited.  As you all know I have been working on losing weight all summer (and will continue to).  Check out my 10 pound weight loss (with pictures) here.

I think this is such a great idea and another good way to keep me accountable.

So where am I at now since my 10 pounds down? Well I have lost another 2 pounds! And my body fat percentage has gone down again too! I love seeing all of the numbers go down!

How have I been doing all of this you may ask? Well diet is key people.  Diet is key.  My trainer can (and does) kick my ass as much as she wants to in the gym, but if I don't stick to my diet I don't lose.

Lately my problems have been that I have been bored with my food.  I eat the same thing day in and day out.  I have a food schedule.  Who the heck has a food schedule?! Lame I know.  But it helps keep my mind where it needs to be and not wanting to eat all of the time.

So I try to change it up every now and then.  I switch when I have what meals and that usually helps.
For me it is all about listening to my body and what is good for it! If I am not wanting to eat something, I don't force myself to just because it is "healthy".  This doesn't mean I move onto anything I shouldn't be eating, I just choose something else.

All of this being said, I have a long road ahead of me.  But the best part about losing weight? You can actually see and feel the results! I have FELT so much better and that to me is the best part! I never want to put this weight on again and if my trainer I have anything to say about this I won't!

In the end I know it will all pay off and I will be able to say that I am healthy!
